Brewers pick up a decent bat. Something tells me that Stearns is going to deal for another arm in the bullpen.

Votto is on a warpath. 6 consecutive games with a homer, now up to a .933 OPS

Personally, I have always liked Happ, but afraid he is past his prime a bit. E.R.A. over 7, but maybe gives them some decent innings.

Can you imagine the punch to the guts of Cub fans when they face Lester in a Cardinal uniform in September? Ha.

Man, the Brewers starters are off the friggen chart. Four guys .583 winning percentage or better. Wow

Been following the Brew Crew since 75. Never has their strength been pitching.

Fun ride - hope it continues in the post season.

I have always liked Happ too and he should fit right in with the Cardinals high ERA club.

Unfortunately Lester in a Cardinals uniform won't mean anything to the Cardinals or the Cubs in September.

Your Brewers were on cruise control to win the NL Central before the trade deadline. With the Cubs fire sale and the Cardinals and Reds doing very little by the trade deadline to compete with the Brewers I will be cheering for the Brew Crew in the postseason.

Adames is hitting .295/.379/.553 with 14 home runs and a 148 OPS+ since getting traded to Milwaukee

That trade is looking awfully good for Milwaukee. I don't blame the Rays for trading him given their embarrassment of riches, but that still felt like a light return

They got 2 pretty damn good pitchers in return.

Jonathan India's had a really good rookie campaign. Hitting .284/.404/.458 with a 121 OPS+ at a premium position (2nd base). Also has been hit by 17 pitches already
