I agree because once we leave Colorado the rest of our schedule is against winning teams.

Nope.

8-10 weeks recovery time.

Not sure they want to rush him back /risk further damage to his knee.
That knee cap could pop back out on a hard slide, or on a diving catch.

Getting him healthy for spring training would be the wise move.

The Brewers should be full of fish after pounding a Triple A team and after the Cardinals lost 2 out of 3 to a team they shouldn't be losing to I hope they are ready to play a hot Brewers team.

After the Brewers the Cards get Washington, Arizona and the Cubs twice
Cubs get Cincy and Pitt plus the 2 Cards series'.
Brewers get Padres, Cincy, Pitt and Colorado.

This might go to the last day...or a day after....

That being said...that loss was almost Mets like...so I empathize.
