Even with many miscommunications with some back-up receivers, Rodgers still put up 425 yards. He definitely tore SF up. As far as the overall game was concerned, SF hung closer than I thought they would....probably more about how GB really is AR12 and little more.

The game was more competitive than I thought they would be. I agree. Green Bay just isn't very good. Aaron Rodgers keeps that team competitive. I still don't understand how Mike McCarthy still has a job. They have one of the best QBs in NFL history and they are wasting his talent. They just seem to be drifting. McCarthy owes his career to Aaron Rodgers carrying him all these years.

As far as the game goes, on that last play where Beathard threw that dumb hail mary. Bourne was open underneath. It would have been enough for the first down.

He panicked and was not prepared for that pressure. He looked completely different with the game on the line in those last three drives. Its not just him though; 8 turnovers to zero in the last two games generally means two losses.

When you said "tore it up", i took it to mean the score. So they certainly didn't tear us up in the "overall game".

Of course they'd get their passing yards, is anyone surprised?

I do like the way, after the first few drives for scores by the Packers, that the 49er defense started blitzing and didn't sit back and let themselves get picked apart. They had at least some success doing it. They'd have got killed had they kept up the original tactic where GB scored on 3 straight drives.

totally agree. you'll get picked apart anyway.

Yes, blitzing has its negatives too, but can't hlep it when you're giving it up against Rodgers.

I am not sure how the calls from the linebacker would affect the coverages in the secondary

Offense needs to work on draws, FB handoffs, rb/te screens, drags, bootlegs, toss/pitches!! Go 49ers!! Goodwin/Kittle at least 3 carries a game!!

Yep and they might as well so they get their pursuit angles better. Next, they all have to get on the same page with the scheme. At very least, there can't be communication errors going forward.

They should give Tarvarious Moore a few reps, when a game is lost.

From what little I have seen of Quenton Nelson G Colts at 6 should be All-Pro we would have taken him at 9! McClincey getting Better! 1st pick comes down to CB. OlB, DE, G, WR need to tighten up units! Go 49ers!
