2 minutes and 20 seconds left in the game, one of the teams is up 2 points, they kick off to the other team for a touchback, that team starts on their 25 with 1 timeout.

Chiefs fans:

Would you rather be up 2 and Brock Purdy and the Niners get the ball on their 25, or would you rather be down 2 and Pat Mahomes and the Chiefs get the ball?

Niners fans:

The reverse, would you rather be up 2 and Mahomes gets the ball on the 25, or down 2 but Purdy gets the rock to try to win?


Do your answers change if it's a 4 point difference instead? Do they change if it's 2 points but only 58 seconds left?

Fun to contemplate...


For me preferring the Niners win, I think I'd rather let Purdy go get it than try to stop Mahomes. 4 point difference I might think the opposite. 58 seconds for sure I want to have the lead.
