I didn't want Nicks anyway. Don't really want Edleman or Sanders either. Too many good WR prospects in the draft.

I'd happily welcome Thurmond though.

I would be happy with adding Thurmond and Sanders then drafting Verrett, Moncrief and Easley in the 1st 3 rounds.

It actually appears to be that they are gearing up for a trade up move.

That's what it looks like to me. But who?

Gilbert?

Couldn't be C-Dix or Pryor now that Antoine Bethea signed.

I hope to God it's not Mike Evans, but it's probably not if they're trying to sign WRs.

I thought you were going to revise your opinion on Evans after his combine? I take it you never got around to doing that?

Or do you think it would cost too much to trade up to get him?

If he projects to an elite #1 I would be good with going out to get him. Afraid he might just end up a solid #2 when all is said and done, however.

I did, but I still think Matthews & Moncrief will both be better than him in a year; and they'll be taken much later.

I keep thinking the same thing. I'm okay with it as long as it's Gilbert or Verrett. I just have a bad feeling about Mike Evans and there is just so much depth at WR this year. You never know what Baalke is up to. He may be trying to get everyone to think he wants Evans and then go for Gilbert or Verrett. They did a similar move last year with Reid. At least that's what I hope he's up to...

At this point I would take either one. The team needs some more weapons. Only so much field goals we can kick. heh

Mike Evans is a stud. He is fast, runs good routes, attacks the ball, strong, tall, and he has that diva #1 Owens/Moss/Johnson swagga. He will not only replace Crabtree he will be so much better.

He is this years Julio Jones who I wanted most in that draft

If anyone is this year's Julio Jones it's Donte Moncrief. Jones is a LOT faster than Evans. It's not even close.

I don't know who they are targeting. Most likely CB or WR. I'm thinking WR but I could be wrong. B

I wouldn't waste the money on free agent wide receivers this year. Landry and Odell beckham JR will both fit well into your system and you might be able to get either in the second round.

I like Cooks, if we're trading up to get a WR then it better damn well be Cooks or Watkins.
