Hopefully we see a good first half of football. Don't know if the starters will play much beyond that, maybe one series?

Hope Avril, Bennett, Morgan, Marsh all introduce themselves to Cutler tonight.

isn't the 3rd preseason game when the starters typically play the longest?

Yes. Maybe a few of the projected 2014 starters will be out after the 1st, but most of the starters and crit backups will be there for the first half and playing to win. Expect some action for sure, especially with it being at Clink.

Always pleasurable to beat the bears and their fanbase full of loudmouths as well.

A little off-topic, but my TV Guide says the NFL Network won't start showing this until 10 Central and will air "NFL Gameday" from 9-10. Anybody know what's up with that? The rest of the internet seems to disagree, but I don't want to miss an hour of my favorite player playing my favorite team.

I saw the same thing here on the west coast feed. The game started at 7 here, but NFL Network's feed of the game wasn't scheduled to start until 8. Not that it mattered since the game was being aired locally on-time and blacked out on NFL Network, but for some reason, some cable TV networks tape delay their feed of sporting events by an hour. It happens occasionally on ROOT Sports here for M's games too (for the HD feed anyway). I'll have to find out why they do that and how they decide when to do that.
