Grrr - The only reason Theodore won the Hart that year is that a Montreal writer left Iggy completely off his ballot.

Sorry dash, I actually meant that question in all seriousness, not to dig up painful memories.

Forgot about MSL who is, as far as I can tell, the only other non-active Hart winner on the list. Admittedly, I didn't check every pre-expansion winner though.

It's doubly frustrating to see three current Hawks on the list and not one of them is Marian Hossa.


I would also agree that Langway should be there over Keith. I'd even argue that Larry Murphy should be there, over Keith. Woop woop was very strong for a long, long time.

On my list, I'd remove Keith and Pronger and replace them with Langway and Murphy.

I've got no issue with Pronger being on there. He certainly has the hardware to back it up.

He does. He also has a massive legacy of dirty play.

Plus he stands as an example of the worst of NHL Politics and is the very definition of unpunished cap circumvention.


Plus, I just really hate him.

1400+ points aint to shabby either. puts him top 20 all time

There are 271 people enshrined in the hockey hall of fame.

Some, like Dale Hawerchuk mentioned above, are not in the top 100 of all time. Same with Rod Langway and Larry Murphy.




And Duncan Keith is.

That top 100 list was absolutely terrible. So many glaring omissions. Me and a few guys on another board do an all time fantasy draft every year. Our list is probably more reflective of all-time rankings than this excuse of a list.
