Lots of names that fell right out of the draft?

Dion Bailey
Jackson Jeffcoat
Brandon Coleman
Loucheiz Purifoy
Marcus Roberson
Rashaad Reynolds
Christian Jones

All guys rumored to go as high as the second round but more realisticly around the fourth...

We'll just sign him to the practice squad when they cut him.

I am very surprised Roberson/Purifoy weren't drafted. We need to pick these guys up..

Also DJ Foster from Southeast Missouri State (Where I go to school) was invited to Bears mini camp.

Given the number of late round CBs we added, I think it's safe to say we had no interest in these guys.

I'm curious to see where the Florida boys will go. If I'm a team like Pittsburg I would jump all over those two.

1. Isaiah Crowell, Alabama St. (UPDATE: Crowell signed with the Cleveland Browns on Saturday.)

The Bears also drafted Ka'Deem Carey yesterday. With Matt Forte as the starter, the Bears now have one of the most impressive group of players at that position.

Mayock said yesterday at the end of the draft, which I find interesting, that because of the depth of the draft a lot of undrafted players would have gone in the 5th-7th rounds in previous years.

I can't read for sh8. This clearly says the Browns, but somehow I mistakenly took it as being the Chicago Bears organization. Smh.

Isaiah Crowell - RB - Hornets

Browns signed Alabama State RB Isaiah Crowell.

Crowell (5-foot-11, 224) went to Georgia as five-star prep recruit and started as a true freshman, posting a 185-850-4.6-5 stat line in 2011. He was arrested on felony weapons charges the following June, and promptly dismissed from the team. Resurfacing at Alabama State, he rushed 170 times for 1,121 yards (6.59 YPC) and 15 touchdowns in 2013, adding seven catches. Although Crowell has obvious off-field concerns, he's among the most talented running backs in the 2014 class with explosive lateral agility and a powerful lower body. He ran 4.57 at the Combine with a 9-foot-9 broad jump and 38-inch vertical. Also an able pass protector, Crowell won't need long to contribute to the Browns if his head is on straight. He's a high-ceiling Dynasty prospect and will give Terrance West all he can handle behind Ben Tate.

This kid couldn't have gone to a much better offense that suits his running style. This pick has Chip Kelly written all over it.

Henry Josey - RB - Tigers

Eagles signed Missouri RB Henry Josey.

Josey (5-foot-8 1/8, 194) missed the 2012 season with multiple ligament and meniscus tears in his left knee, before making an impressive 2013 return that saw him rush 174 times for 1,166 yards (6.7 YPR) and 16 touchdowns as a redshirt junior. Josey managed 24 career receptions and obviously lacks feature back size, but is an explosive mover with 4.43 wheels and a 9-foot-10 broad jump. To become a real NFL asset, Josey will have to make major strides both as a special teamer and pass protector. He's a bit of a long shot, but easy to root for considering his resiliency. The Eagles also added Toldeo RB David Fluellen as a UDFA.
