Complete nonsense and you didn't even know who Hamilton was until you started drafting with us!

its actually funny... Because baseball is a team sport with individual stats... But The only reason why Puckett is seen to be so good is because he won two WS... without it he was Fred Lynn... probably a little worse...

So you think when Nos invited me to a football draft I all of a sudden started looking up old fart baseball players so I could fit in on chat threads? Negative, ghost Rider

Why is this directed at me?

You didn't know who Bob Hayes was. I didn't go around looking for old time players before these mocks lolzz

Of course I did, I just didn't realize how good he was!

I get it, you don't like him but I watched him play probably 700+ games, the guy was an amazing player. Did Fred Lynn have the most hits the first 10 years of his career in the 20th century?

8 feet? LOL I can dunk on a 9 foot goal and I am 5'9" hahaha. He is FAR from way up there
just stop bro...the leap was measured at 42 inches - that's world class jumping ability. The only time you've ever seen 42 inches is when the left side of my O-Line Darren Sharper'd you and ran a train

you know, I am mostly just pulling your leg... I always liked the guy... But I do think Fred Lynn is a perfect comparison to Puckett...

then you are not giving Fred lynn his credit...

That is somewhat fair but he wasn't near the hitter Kirby was....speaking of a guy that is never picked in our mocks. It's Fred Lynn

IDK... I mean, I agree I would take puckett over Lynn... But I think they are VERY close...

For me Puckett is closer to a guy like Andre Dawson then he is to Lynn

Willie, Cobb, Speaker, Mantle, Griffey, Dimaggio, Trout, Snider, Beltran, Ashburn, Dawson, Hamilton...there is 12 and I can't put him in front of any of those guys probably a couple others. I say #15-20 is right on.
You forgot Kenny Lofton...

You forgot Kenny Lofton...

I figured that was a given and I didn't want to upset a certain someone more than he already is.

THIS is a catch...

Yeah nice catch. Would have been even more impressive if he didn't use his foot to propel himself over

I think propelling himself in this instance is more impressive. The timing, coordination, ball tracking and overall spacial awareness that go into that versus just simply running and jumping is amazing. It's a really athletic play to be able to incorporate all of that into this catch.
