Mike Tomlin said that his meeting with Aaron Rogers yesterday was "very interesting". He didn't elaborate, but Rogers walked away without a contract with the Steelers. Tomlin just said, "We'll see where things go."
Seems like a lot of doors are closing on the former MVP.
Problem for Rodgers is he still views himself as at that MVP level and the contracts teams are offering him is more like a middle of the pack type QB. He feels insulted and is trying his last power play of if they won't pay me what I think I'm worth then I'll sit out a year. He and Wilson both have an inflated view of themselves and how much the league needs them.
