Mike Tomlin said that his meeting with Aaron Rogers yesterday was "very interesting". He didn't elaborate, but Rogers walked away without a contract with the Steelers. Tomlin just said, "We'll see where things go."

Seems like a lot of doors are closing on the former MVP.

Problem for Rodgers is he still views himself as at that MVP level and the contracts teams are offering him is more like a middle of the pack type QB. He feels insulted and is trying his last power play of if they won't pay me what I think I'm worth then I'll sit out a year. He and Wilson both have an inflated view of themselves and how much the league needs them.

Brown's Co-Owner Jim Haslam said this yesterday. "We (Browns) took a huge swing and missed on Deshaun (Watson). Now we have to dig ourselves out of this hole."

Saying that, why has Haslam met with Abdul Carter twice?? All indications are that Cleveland will take Carter and pair him up with Myles Garrett to put pressure on Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson. The Browns don't have a QB. Are they planning to swoop in and sign Aaron Rogers? Do they believe that a QB will be available to them in Round 2? Jaxson Dart? Jalen Milroe? Kyle McCord?

Probably not where Rogers wants to go...unless they are the only ones that want Rogers...?

ESPN says that the Vikes or the Steelers will make a move for him. They think that the Brown will end up sticking with Watson or use Pickett as their starter if they can't get a #1 QB. Is there a #1 QB??

Ehh...

It's a pretty bad year to NEED a QB.

It says Parcels was elected to Pats hall of fame.

Fuck that. I like Parcels but he screwed the Pats and especially his players before leaving. Let the Cowboys and Jets elect him.
Kraft kinda ran him out of town.

This is RK's way of mending fences.

The Pats of today would not be a shadow of what they are without the Tuna being here for 4 years. He may have left on bad terms, but I appreciate what he did while here.

Parcells burned bridges on his way out of every team he left. Arrogant bastard!

He said "screw you" to Kraft then screwed Kraft, all his players, all his coaches, and all the fans. I completely understood his sentiment, but not his actions.

Ehh...I try not to live holding on to grudges. Does me no good.

I appreciate the winning culture he helped bring to New England.

I don't hold a grudge, I did state I like him. Undermining your team for a Super Bowl earns you enshrinement in a hall of shame, not fame.

I love some of his quotes.

Did he leak that he took another position? Or did someone else? I would think that Bill P would have wanted that SB ring to go with his first two.

He recruited Will McDonough. Look, I wasn't in the room and I'm connecting dots with statements made years after... Some statements included him not putting an effort in and encouraging BB to put less effort in.
