I agree with all of these.

I think the new kick off rule(s) are the dumbest rules that the rules committee has come up with.

Since we're talking ""DUMB""..............................How about a trade idea???

Offer Matthew Judon to the NY JETS for Hassan Reddick. He don't wanna play for the Jets for $14.5M one year.

He's 29 and Judon is 32. Both teams agree that contracts have to be settled before the deal is done. Reddick is well worth a 3 year $57M with $36M guaranteed. He'd be a perfect replacement for Judon. Don't know if the Jets would do it, but they're saying he's going to be hit with the $50,000 a day fine and he's saying he doesn't give a shit, he's not playing for the Jets.

Jets gave up a conditional 3rd round pick for him after the Eagles refed to give him a new contract and never tried to work out a new contract before doing the deal. As one agent said, "NEVER make a trade for an unhappy player without at least checking whether or not he'll report without a new deal."

Minnesota Vikings rookie QB J.J. McCarthy suffered a serious knee injury in practice today. No further information was available. He's expected to miss at least four to six weeks.

Sounds like someone is hoping it's not that serious.

he is undergoing surgery. Meniscus is often cleaned up with a scope. He is not the starter and they have a 3rd string QB. Instead of standing with a clipboard, he’ll be sitting with a clipboard

Zappe and Jones were pretty much neck and neck for the worst QB in the NFL. We got a 6th (I think) for Jones. Probably the same or less for Crappe.

I have no doubt that he is worth the same return, or less, than Jones. Unless the market and timing and a stupid buyer says different.
