if mahomes were healthy i think he could get in a shoot out and hold his own . i dont see the chiefs defense standing up to the bengals offense , i think the eagles /49ers game is a toss up

I've been seeing those comparisons today. No jinx, but I love that in a few months Dallas is going to have an owner problem and we're not.

They draft better than most and Jerry's son is sharpe imo, but with Jerry they will always have a coach who takes orders.

No way. Jimmy won't be ready to play by Sunday. He's still not well enough to even practice.

But if Purdy plays well enough for the Niners to win the NFCCG, there is no way they bench Purdy for Jimmy in the SB. At best, Jimmy would be the backup QB.

At this point would Grap really be an upgrade from Purdy anyway?

Purdy doesnt seem to make too many mistakes, and also seems to have a livlier arm.

The Niners are in an enviable position of having outstanding coaching, a GM that is willing to make smart, risky moves, and two young qb’s, one of which has shown to be successful in their system and another one who was/is the heir apparent.

No, but make no mistake, when Trey returns next year he's the starter, even if the Purdy Niners win it all. Because of the play of BP, Garp has permanently lost his usefulness with this team next year and will be moved.

I disagree. It shouldn't surprise anyone if Purdy is simply named the starter. I think the best Trey can hope for is a QB competition where he'll have to actually beat out Purdy to win the job. That'll be tough for Lance to do considering how well Purdy has played in live games. Trey won't simply be handed the job like he was last offseason.

Jimmy is a FA after the season and he was leaving town anyway. I could see him signing with the Jets, Raiders, or Panthers.

Unless the Niners can run the ball well, I don't think they win against Philly. The Niners defense struggles against mobile QBs and has a tendency to give up big plays in the passing game. Sadly, I think this game will be the end of the line.
