Yep. Best case, Looks like Purdy will be out until training camp. With Jimmy almost certainly leaving in free agency, unless the Niner FO decides to sign someone like Brady, it appears that Lance will get the starting spot by default (again).

As sad as it is for Purdy, It's an interesting development for SF. They get to see what they have in Lance for a while without creating grumbling in the locker room (for bypassing a successful Purdy). By the time Lance starts struggling in the regular season, they'll hopefully have a fully recovered Purdy ready to step in.
