He sounded like he could NOT care less if he comes back. Keep in mind that his Dad has trashed the organization and Payne and Allen literally had a fist fight during a game. I would not be surprised if his agent tells Rivera that he wants out. Who knows.

Bottom line is that it doesn't sound like he wants to be here.

The ONLY thing that I would add to your statement is an insertion of "legitimately" (meaning fairly) before "sign him long-term!

I think he is likely a good player but at what cost.

I thought tonight was a very interesting game. Quinn who I like (in part because he went to Salisbury U in MD) had a great game plan to start. I think he is one of the great DCs in the league now.

Kyle who is one of my favorite HCs in the league made adjustments in the 2nd half that allowed them to win.

Side not on all of this is Quinn was HC at Atlanta when Kyle was OC so they know each other. All and all a good game when you realize both guys knew each other.

I don't have a lot of eyes on Purdy but my thought tonight was he is okay but not great. I think Lance will get every chance to try and prove he is better.

I think Dak was Dak and I still think Kyle is one of the best HCs in the league along with their GM John Lynch.
