A friend of mine who was also a book, was down a G to his guy. So he put a G on SF vs Rams on a MNF. SF was up 17 points with like 4 min to play, so he went to sleep happy. His alram clock woke him and up and the radio says, what an exciting game Rams win in OT. He thinks this cant be right and finds out. Rams scored a Td, recovered an onsides kick, scored another TD, recovered another onsides kick and kick a FG as time expired to go into OT. Lesson as you know is First half scores don't pay, unless you put in a first half wager, but couldnt with the book. First off that's just not true at all. It's time you embraced 2016 and stop living in the 90s. It's often people who only use traditional stats without acknowledging advanced stats are losing the debate. Advanced stats can be flawed as well, but they are at least more fair and are closer to telling us what we already see than traditional stats. It's not that I dismiss all traditional stats, it's only some of them. Like takeaways, giveaways, point differential, turnover differential, red zone offense, red zone defense are traditional and pretty damn important. I don't overlook those stats. I only overlook garbage stats such as ppg(defense) and yards per game(offense and defense).

It's just amazing to me how this board allows people to constantly say shit like:

Put _____ QB behind Dallas' Oline and he'd.....

Give _____ Brady's teammates and he'd.....

Give _____ _____'s teammates and he'd...

Give the Falcons an average QB and they go 8-8.

This is the point I've been trying to make with Cowboy fans about Dak. You can't judge a QB accurately until he's played 3 or so years and even then it's tough because some guys have great talent around them while others don't. The history of the NFL is littered with QBS who played a short time for a team and then got a huge contract with another team only to fail miserably. You just cannot accurately assess a quarterback off of a season or less worth of play

Yes Brady should be penalized again, even though he was overly punished already for something that happened TWO years ago.

Taking emotion out of the argument for me and it comes down to the fact he was suspended for cheating. I am not rehashing his guilt or innocence in the matter. He was suspended 25% of the games. He is ineligible for the honors. And I said upthread that I still think he is the best QB in football so I don't hate his abilities.

Pats by far. If you read a few posts back you'll see I said I don't think Brady wins the MVP. I just get tired of posters bringing up what I consider things that aren't relevant. I'm surely not going to rehash what Brady did or didn't do, or what the courts found, or what Roger decided was fair for what he's not even certain happened or didin't.

I understand your deduction of relevance but it is relevant and I am not sure why you can't acknowledge that that is why he is tainted for this award this year. I think this situation is pretty unique which is why there are no "rules". If there were I am willing to bet that being suspended for 25% of the games = disqualification for the award.

5 dimes is great because you can do up to 25 team parlays. Sometimes I will do one for short money and will do money lines and tease up points on dogs like $10 can win you 1-3k usually

teasers is playing with the beting number which can either increase or decrease the payout. Example is if a team is favored by 3 and you playing a five point tease the number now becomes 8 or +2 depending on what way it was teased
