NFL in Oregon? Raiders?

Oh I know, it's a pipe dream, but we are trying. As a lifelong Raider fan this is beyond my imagination. Say goodbye to marriage if the Raiders come to Portland. Ducks season tix for 20 years of Saturdays. Former Raider tix holder. And surely I would be a season tix holder again if this came true.

Portland is a bigger TV market than Pittsburgh, Charlotte, Indy, Baltimore, San Diego, Nashville, KC, Milwaukee, Cincy, NOLA, Jax, Buffalo.

Passionate fans that bleed for the Blazers for Peets sake. The NBA!?!?! Can't even imagine how people would line up for NFL. This city is so hungry for another sports team.

The question comes down to, is it realistic that a team would move from The Bay to Portland though.

More realistic a MN, JX, or expansion team I would think.

More of a reason to hope for some other team not as iconic as the Raider brand, Jville.

Then you could drop the team name for a new one.

Oregon seems to have supported the Trail Blazers and Ducks extremely well, I have to imagine they would be able to support an NFL team pretty well.

Expansion is unacceptable and there are better markets if someone were to move. Oregon is and should be low on the list.

Oh I have, and so have Oregon sports fans.

Our knowledge of the game isn't there. But it would be if a team came. Talk radio was discussing a group trying to lure the Florida Panthers away.

Passion in Portland is never a problem.

Our MLS team the timbers is only rivaled by Seattle for passion.

Of course they call Portland soccer city, USA. That may be working against us for an NFL team.

NHL works for me @ the Rose Garden. Top notch ice rink venue too. Makes the most sense.
