NFL Draft in person

This year the Draft is in Philly, which is only three hours away from me. Has anyone ever been to the NFL draft before? I've always wanted to go, and it's finally somewhere within driving distance of where I live. I can't seem to find anywhere online where I can buy tickets. Anyone have any tips? Know where to get tickets, etc.?

No tips, and I love watching the draft, but that seems like a long day to me if in person. Curious to see what the set up will be in Philly.

Parkway, and perhaps Rocky steps, to be stage for 2017 NFL draft

Sounds like all tickets are distributed via a lottery that won't be held for a while. Of course you could always buy tickets later from resellers. Hopefully someone who has been through this before can shed some more light on this.

I would much rather watch it on tv instead of in person. Seems like a waste of time and too long of a day. But if a buddy of mine went, I probably would go.
