I said it before but why are they so scared to use a week 18 if needed?

Wish they would explain why they are resisting that week 18. Seems like opening it up now would provide relief to the schedulers. But maybe they just don't want to play that last resort card just yet until things get truly ugly. Say they have 3-4 games that get moved to week 18 in just 1 week, that handicaps the remaining 3-4 weeks on the schedule if things get even worse.

Just a theory anyway.

It's unclear whom, if any, among the group tested positive, or if all were simply victims of close-contact tracing. That will likely be announced (aka cracked) towards the end of the week, putting whomever tested positive in doubt for Week 14 against the Broncos

Two days after Bryant was hurried off the field just before kickoff against Dallas, and on the same day Bryant claimed on Twitter that he had tested negative for the virus a couple times, he winds up on the COVID list. The disgruntled veteran didn't practice Thursday, and now it's clear why. The chances of Bryant playing another game this season are exceedingly small. This makes a short week even shorter for the struggling Lions. They play the Bucs on Saturday as their disastrous season comes to a merciful close. the reason the ravens game kept being pushed back is new people every day tested positive and the browns played cause no new positive tests

exactly. Ravens had 18-20+ players. Browns had 5-6 (and only 1 tested positive)
