Lot's of good candidates this year:

O'Connell - Took a team that was in a rebuild with a fairly unsuccessful career QB to 14 wins
Campbell - Won 15 games with a team that has had the most injuries in the NFL this season
Harbaugh - Took the Chargers from a top 5 pick to a playoff team in year one
Reid - The Chiefs were darn good again!
Quinn - The Commanders surprised many people this year becoming a playoff team

Feel free to add someone else if you feel they are worthy.

I cast my vote and apparently the only vote so far, for O'Connell. Every coach on this list might have won in other seasons and under different circumstances, but O'Connell's handling of his team this season took it to a whole nuther level.

The Broncos were predicted to win 5.5 games at best this year with a lot of people saying they had the worst or second worst roster in the NFL, and Sean Payton made them a playoff team.

Dan Quinn was in a very similar boat as well but people did expect the Commanders to do better than last year

He definitely belongs on the list, but I think the Vikes HC ran away with it.

One thing is for sure. He can shake off the whole only reason he did well was because he had Drew Brees.
He went to a dumpsterfire with no money & pretty much instantly turned them around to a playoff caliber team. Also he handpicked Nix as his next QB.

I think they changed some rule (didnt even know there was one) so he cant win it. Which is BS.

Just looked the award up, I see what you mean. It says it's for players that have overcome illness or physical injury. I agree it's BS he can't win.

Just here to make sure I don't have to invoke my admin rights to remove Tomlin from the poll.
That's it...I'm writing in Tomlin!

Dude never loses.....in the regular season at least...

I think basing this award on preseason expectations is oversimplying things.

While true I don’t think it qualifies just because you were awful last year and then went to a better team and played better.
while I get what you are saying. I dont think it should disqualify you. That is what the voters should weigh in on. (not make a rule against it)

An all-pro gets an injury misses part of a season. Comes back the next year & is still an all-pro. Rather vote for the guy that improved his game.

Out of KOC, Payton, Quinn and Campbell, I dont think there is a wrong pick.
