I like the way this falls. Eagles will have an edge because of playing on Thursday week 1. Saw an article yesterday that said week 1 teams playing Thursday have a ridiculously high winning percentage in week 2.

I suspect that when half of those teams are the SB winner and the other half are the NFL making sure that it's a good week 1 matchup (either an elite team or a rival) so also a decent team at worst, that greatly skews that stat

Yah I was hoping that would be a matchup earlier, but NFL is shootin for the ratings to close out the season as they fully expect it to come down to those games for who wins the division (well NFC East I mean).

It wouldn’t be a big deal if he was talking shit about Lane Johnson or Jordan Mailota. At least he’s going to put his hand down on the ground and compete against those guys personally. But in this situation he talked shit about CeeDee’s matchup. Why would he do anything to give an opponent bulletin board shit when he’s not even involved in that matchup? That’s click bait shit and that’s the kind of stuff DLAW was likely talking about. What’s good for his pod or good for his social media clicks isn’t always the best thing for the locker room or the team.
