I still think the Commanders trades with Philly were good for both teams, but clearly Cooper Dejean looks like a star in the making, and Jahan Dotson picked a good time to show up early in the Super Bowl.

Over the past 20 years, Lurie has taken the Birds to 4 Super Bowls and is 2-2. Best owner this generation of Philly sports fan has ever seen.

I also hope it’s the Lions. That’s the game that we football fans were cheated out of this year because of the Lions being decimated on defense. In my opinion, a healthy Lions vs the Eagles in the NFC Championship would have been the real Super Bowl.

It always starts with good, smart ownership. But with the Eagles, I'd also give Howie Roseman just about co-equal status. He's been one of the best GMs, if not outright best in the league for some time now.

Still, don't be surprised to see Philly draft an offensive lineman high, as the story notes. I can see them taking his eventual replacement, like they did with Jason Kelce-Cam Jurgens.

But Philly will almost certainly go d line as well in the first few rounds, since they are set to lose Josh Sweat and Milton Williams.
