So what you are saying is that 73% of Americans remember Dallas winning. Great stat. Thanks

Oh and your one SB is in the past now. No more meaningful than one form the 90s :nono:
Really? You are going to tell that to the fanbase that until two years ago were still chirping that their leather-helmet championships were "the same as lombardi's"?

Good luck with all that.

Why don't you show me where I said it wasn't a good pick or said anything negative about him as a player or the decision to draft him :bored2:
I've learned that this fanatical defense of Goedert isn't based on any logic, as is evident by the fact the Eagle fans in here don't even know what has been said, or by whom.

One doesn't know how years work, one goes on for two pages upset about a comment I never actually made, and now this guy admits he doesn't know what the argument is about but throws in his misconception anyhow.

I can't blame Cowboys fans for still being upset about the Eagles jumping them for Goedert. To lose out on a player with such a high ceiling like Goedert.

The Cowboys rejoiced when you took a TE because it meant they were getting their player.
The Force is weak with this one...:L

What order a position player is taken has no merit. See Mark Andrews and Hayden Hurst (Or Laquen I'm not going to learn how to properly spell your name Treadwell), for that matter... Or I guess any WR taken by the Raiders if it really comes down to it.
Correct and what's even less meaningful is where a talking head mocked them to go a month before the draft.

Never said Williams wasn’t a steal. I remember many having him as a 1st. I’m also glad Philly didn’t take the player who struggled year one either. A few of you said he came on strong at the end of the season and I’ll take their word cause I dont study line play around the league
You continued to call him mediocre, and many players struggle year one.

As for the bolded the sentence makes your stance on Centers invalid.

I wouldn't say there is no meaning to it. A talking head assigning a draft order to someone, and then applying a teams needs to that ranking is a sure-fire way to make sure the Eagles give up draft picks to get them. 2016 = trade up, 2017 = trade up, 2018 = trade up.

And that boys and girls is how you end up with only one center on your roster and having to almost get guys off the street to play LB for you.

Dallas signing La'el Collins to an extension. I'm hearing it is a Jaylon Smith type contract, meaning a deal good for Dallas.

Wrapping up the PFF #3 ranked tackle on a team friendly deal! Way to go Jerry!!
I'll wait to see the numbers but I don't like that news. When you pick and choose who to let go, you let go the ones that you can replace. He is a good player and if this is because they are worried about the long term health of Tyron then I am all for it, but I'm more than a little concerned why they felt to do this right now. I'll withhold judgment until I see the details.

Wow, I thought Collins would be an odd man out with all the contracts due.

True, the devil is in the details. However I feel like Jerry and Stephen are bargain shopping right now, trying to sign everyone they can. I was afraid they were actually going to trade Collins, so I'm thrilled to hear he is about to be locked up for a long time. He's a top run blocker and I feel really good about the OL this year. Won't have any Paul Alexander stupid schemes to start the year and Travis back, so I have high hopes of the OL dominating again.

Wait, their strategy was to trade back because of a lack of picks, and their method of executing a "trade back" strategy was to trade up?

They picked up a 2nd they gave up a late 5th... so yeah

But saying it was a bad pick is based logic. Riiiiight

You just called him mediocre (as a starter), while a TE is "emerging" (as a backup).

I know because the “steal” part was right after the draft. He was mediocre last year. Doesn’t mean he can’t turn it around.

There were two TEs who were taken after Goedert who put up similar/better numbers.

Are they gonna be studs too?
No, because Eagles
