$10M per over 5 years seems pretty fair. He is good, but not great. Good deal for Dallas and I assume for Collins
We didn't bring Witten back to play a few snaps and sit on the bench.Keep the game going. When you aren’t very good and there’s a player who is now much better... well starting don’t mean much. It’s a token gesture. Ok run out there for a play or two Witten then sit your ass on the bench the rest the game.
Even better is that we have one of the best OL's in the NFL, and 4/5ths are locked up through 2024 while the open guard spot is manned by a 2nd year guy and we have a rookie as well.

Then explain to me what I was having "both ways" in your mind.
"So you agree he looks like he is going to be good and then you come back with we are blind homers. Pick a side bro"
Because he is good. PFF graded his work last year as the 6th best run blocker, and I heard they have him scoring 3rd best among OT's last year. Don't have a subscription, so can't confirm or post a screen shot.Collins is not actually good, so I am not sure why Dallas fans like this signing.
According to PFF his stats say he is. Could stand to work on his pass blocking, but he's elite run blocking. This puts him among the top 5 paid right tackles. Is he a top 5 right tackle?
usually enhances the laughs...I'm here for spirited debate.
If nothing else, spirits are involved.
Stupid question. I can't believe how clueless people still are even with access to so much information when it comes to the timing of NFL contracts and the highest paidThis puts him among the top 5 paid right tackles. Is he a top 5 right tackle?

Here is a question for you. Is Trent Brown the best OL in the NFL?
Being paid top 5 doesn't mean you are top 5, it means you were the next due for a contract. No, Trent Brown is not the best OL and was not worth being paid as such.
See? That isn't hard to admit.

And then traded two picks for one.
So you turned a 1st and 4th in '18 into a 2nd and 4th in 18 plus a 2 in 19. Then turn around and give up a 2nd and 5th in 18 for a 2nd in 18.
I guess that is "trading back" but you don't gain much, and you gain nothing in the current year.
