Yeah, their arguments on Goedert make zero sense. He would start for Dallas next week if he was traded there. They know it.

No actually he wouldn't. Witten would start and there is no question about that. None. Zip. Nada.

Now if you want to say he would be Dallas' best TE that is a different conversation. I'm not convinced he will be a better receiver than Jarwin who exploded late last year when he finally saw the ball a little more, but Jarwin can't block as well as Goedert. Unlike certain Eagles fans, I need to see both a little more before I pretend to know what each will be over the next 5 - 10 years. Time will tell on both. I do think they will have similar receiving numbers this year again. Now blocking is another story. Dallas just doesn't have a TE anywhere near as good of a blocker as Goedert. That is a concern of mine and why I would have put a 4th TE on the roster and wouldn't be surprised if they end up doing it also if they can find one that is a great blocker.

And then traded two picks for one.
So you turned a 1st and 4th in '18 into a 2nd and 4th in 18 plus a 2 in 19. Then turn around and give up a 2nd and 5th in 18 for a 2nd in 18.

I guess that is "trading back" but you don't gain much, and you gain nothing in the current year.
