And all of the survivors of that dreadful hurricane that hit nearly a decade ago..

You mean all the people who Brees rebuilt homes for? There were thousands, right? All by himself (with the help of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, of course).

BREAKING NEWS: It's being speculated that Brees won't be able to participate in the game tonight. Apparently he was approached this morning about making a commercial for The Perfect Pancake.

I'm thinking the Eagles run attack will be the difference maker vs the Saints run defense on the road.

He did receive some help from Oprah but that was just to get that "lipstick" off of his cheek.

Brees is going to have that Eagles defense for dinner and dessert.

Brees will have roughly 350 yds passing, 3-4 tds, and 0 turnovers in a Saints victory

I am looking forward to this game almost as much as the freezer bowl. Chip Kelly is a first year NFL coach taking his team to the playoffs. His offense is entertaining and looks a lot like the Duck's. Saints need to be careful or they will get boat raced. All that misdirection stuff sucks when you are on defense. Never was an Eagle fan but it is always interesting when someone new comes along with a slightly different approach.
New guys with new idea's make for fun games to watch. Always enjoyed watching the Eagles play this season.

The only two times these teams have met in the playoffs were both in New Orleans:

1993 -- 11-5 Eagles at 12-4 Saints -- The Eagles trailed by 10 points going into the 4th quarter, but would score 26 unanswered points, including a safety by HOFer Reggie White and a pick six by 6-time Pro Bowler Eric Allen. Randall Cunningham threw for 219 yds, 2 TD, 0 INT in the Eagle's 36-20 victory. Saints QB Bobby Hebert threw for 291 yards, 1 TD, 3 INTs (2 INTs were by Eric Allen, the other by 3-time Pro Bowler Seth Joyner)

2007 -- 10-6 Eagles at 10-6 Saints -- Andy Reid decided to punt the ball down 27-24 with 1:56 remaining and with two time outs. The game ended before the Eagles offense could get back on the field. Brees threw for 243 yds, 1 TD, 0 INT. Two-time Pro Bowler Deuce McAllister had 163 yards from scrimmage (143 rushing) and 2 TDs. Reggie Bush had 74 yds from scrimmage and 1 rushing TD. Eagles were without their starting QB Donovan McNabb and had to use their back-up Jeff Garcia. 2-time Pro Bowler Brian Westbrook ran for 116 yards and 2 TDs
