There should be no beans in chili.

I agree 100%. At the Mexican Restaurants, it was either chili colorado, or chili verde. For the masses of typical American eaters, if there were no beans in it, it wasn't chili....What are ya gonna do? Give 'em what they want.

I'd personally make two pots. Then the bean folk can have their beans.
If you're cooking chili for a large group of folks, beans are good filler to stretch it out on the cheap.

Hi, all. Just joined up here and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a lifelong Husker fan, now living in central OR. Right smack in the middle of Duck country... they're almost as rabid fans as us Huskers!

Been quite a season so far; they've almost put me in the hospital with all these come-from-behind wins, but then again, I love the exciting finishes!
