Also Bengals fans were cheering when Roethlisberger got hurt and had to leave the game so karma got them again.

Describe his failure with the Raiders.
Had a solid team who should have won the division but collapsed down the stretch losing 4 out of 5 resulting in his firing after only one season.

Describe his failure with the Raiders.
""The offense wasn't quite as effective with Jackson as head coach, with injuries to star running back Darren McFadden, receiver Jacoby Ford and Campbell playing a role in the decline.

But the biggest problems this past season were an inability to curb the team's propensity for penalties and on the defensive side of the ball. The team committed 163 penalties for 1,358 yards, setting records in both categories, as Jackson was unable to instill the discipline he promised.

The Raiders also had franchise worsts in touchdown passes allowed (31), yards per carry (5.1), yards passing (4,262) and total yards (6,201), while giving up the third-most points (433) in team history.""

A coach who cannot instill discipline is the guy you want running the 49ers? This team completley lacks discipline.

One season finishing 8-8 and by no means a solid team. Fired by the new GM.

Not sure how to edit, but this occurred to me. Pacman crying on the sideline after his idiocy cost his team the playoffs gives new meaning to making it rain.

Why is this idiot still employed?

Pacman was right about Porter not being on the field. On top of being on the field, Porter was apparently jawing with Bengal players.

You musta missed this:

Only God himself would have gotten any better results with that team put together by Al Davis. Their QB was Jason Campbell which is bad enough then he went down with an injury.

That has nothing to do with record setting penalties and record setting failure on defense. he is also the OC on the most undisciplined team in the NFL who just threw away their season due to a lack of discipline and self control.

Not sure, but the all time record happened under Jackson. That says a lot for a historically undisciplined team like the Raiders.

Are you going to blame Jackson for the lack of control on the defense? That's on the HC. I did however questioned about running the ball instead of just kneeling it and forcing the Steelers to use their timeouts.

So you don't like Huey as a HC. Got it. Who are you hoping for?
A quiet, well-respected no-nonsense type Black head coach who has the respect of the young black athletes in the mold of Tomlin or Bowles.

No, not solely, but he is an authority figure on that team and gets some of the fault for the atmosphere there in Cincy.

Of course it doesn't. Davis chooses the assistant coaches and players but it has nothing to do with it
