Hyundai also just came out with the genesis badge/brand which supposedly competes very well with mercedes bmw and audi. And is supposed to be way more fun to drive than the Japanese luxury cars.
Yeah, I've seen that. I'm more interested in value than performance, though

Consider a Subaru. It might not hit your fuel economy target, but you will love it in bad weather.

Ahh, they must be the ones who sponsor the NFL Monday Night Football half time shows. Every time they announce the Genesis half time show my first thought is that I'm about to see Phil Collins and Peter Gabriel. Not a bad looking car though. I kind of like the 2011,2017,2018 Coupe

No interest on those small SUV/crossover cars? On a budget, I'd consider the Nissan Kicks. Has a nice style and a higher ride than your average car. I'd at least take one for a test drive. Its in your fuel economy area too.

Not at all. I don't want an SUV or an"SUV"

But I ended up buying a new Civic Hatchback anyway

I drive a bitch car. 2010 Honda Fit.

But I'm leaving Curacao in probably a year, and the car stays. I will be looking for a car. Those Nissan's are all over the place here, and they look pretty nice.

a test drive is my plan!

I've driven quite a few Nissan sedans lately, they're pretty solid. Mostly Sentras and Versas, never driven a Kick or a Juke or any of their SUV chassis models.
