Overall i have guarded enthusiasm over the team now.

We got our aggression back, but it was Ut-Martin

Fresno State game will give us a good idea of our season

Don't underemphasize that point... But like you said, Fresno St. will be a better indicator.

We scheduled it when we were in the Big East, its a BCS conference this year

So we followed the rule that other Bcs conference teams follow

And scheduled an fcs team for our home opener

Our AD has ties to the school. Add in the fact it was scheduled when we were joining a BCS conference.

Our defense can't stop anyone

Unfortunately that's what happens when

Just about everyone with experience

Has either graduated, gotten hurt or in trouble

Its a long year no coach can fix this defensive mess, we just have to hope

Experience makes them better

Yeah our Defence needs a lot of work this year. Fresno knew we were weak on the pass and the took full advantage of it.
Southwick played pretty damn well last night, but Fresno had our #. Great game to watch

Out defensive secondary is the weak link. They are young but I doubt they have the ability nor talent to improve much. Need more size and athleticism, not easy to recruit players in this mold.

I finally got a chance to rewatch the Fresno State game in detail

maybe a QB change is needed also, Southwick is completing passes, but he seems afraid to make more than short passes.

Our defense is plain awful this year, we need a QB that's not afraid to make plays

Broncos were finally playing Boise State football tonight. Yeah, it's just Southern Miss but they looked crisp.
