Hoenstly thinking8ng about attempting to run the engine from a gas can on the side b3fore i reinstall the tank.
Its actually been pretty uneventful by way of i lnjury. Typically can5 get start3d without bleeding. Third 5ime i took the tank off. After looking at the s3nder, this little plastic tip is gone. I think thats the bits of shit i am finding.I would try that. That was one of the reasons I suggested trying to keep the engine running after it stalled with starter fluid. If it kept running after squirting starter fluid it would be a fuel problem and not an ignition problem.
I think you may be on the right track now though. I sure hope it is ! You've been working hard on that truck and I hope you finally found the problem.
How many knuckles did you bust ? Ouch!
It was pretty damn clean from the last time. I power washed it out with water hose connected to my water heater before.Bring that tank to a radiator shop and they can boil it clean as a whistle.
Where is @Shaggy ? He also has a truck forum site too I believe. Maybe someone there may have the answer....

@Peter Gozintite What make is your truck?
Update. Waiting for the tank to dry out, ran a hose into a gas can, started an it ran for 30 minutes without fail. Only time it died was right after starting, air in the line came through. Started again. Ran great.

View attachment 158604 Well, its fixed. Runs phenomenally. Kind of bitter sweet. Feels good that its running so well, just wish i had dropped the tank or just connected the fuel pump to a gas can to begin with. Everything that was replaced, probably could have used it. Thanks for the "help" guys.
