I just thought we wouldn't win it.

Southern was leading Iowa State by as much as 14 points this weekend.....so I just figured we would struggle.

We're up 52-39 right now with about 10 mins left in the game..........so honestly I'm pleasantly surprised.

We have some games in the early going here we might be able to win..........and maybe we'll somehow get lucky and win 1 in Conference play, but I doubt it.

I see a 4 or 5 wins season......maybe as much as 6.

We lost 6 Seniors from last years team.......4 of which were starters en sech.

But mainly the BIG is just THAT good this season. All 11 teams ahead of us could make a case right now for why they are NCAA Tourney worthy.

We will find out a lot about the potential of our season this Thursday....

We play Valpo on BTN 8pm CST............

Valpo received votes for the top 25 in the preseason polls, but for whatever reason they didn't receive any this week after 2 dominating performances to start the season.

They are picked to win the Horizon League and obviously play in the NCAA Tourney.
