I don't think anything will come of it. It's mostly smaller sports (swimming/diving etc...)with a few small ones by others. If Auburn can shell out money for Cam Newton and be fine, we'll be fine.

I loved the terms accidental texts, lol. Were the coaches sitting on their phones butt texting recruits?

Like I said, it isn't a big deal. We reported 14 minor violations. Iowa St had ~1500 I believe.

right, if you are able to see the crazy number of violations that other schools have, this is nothing, not sure why they are making such a huge deal out of it, what they need to do is have a giant color coded chart calendar that shows what you can do at what time of year for each sport...those grad student assistants could do this

I personally think texting these high school kids should be outlawed, no texting at all...if that kid is driving along and gets a text from Nick Saban, they will look, then bam, accident...could happen. No texting!

Well, that and the DM Register had an article that was something along the lines of 'Iowa admits to same violations as Iowa State'. Yeah we did. Except for the fact that they're not and they have 100x more than we do.
