5 on 3 opportunity for the Gophers, takes advantage for a 4-2 score with another minute left of 5 on 4 adv for the Gophers.


Should say, one of the 5 guys sick and not playing tonight for the Wolverines is their leading scorer. Takes some away from the win if they win this game.

5-2 win? I'll fucking take it. Sucks they were missing more players than we were, but life sucks. If we can just pull off a tie tomorrow that would be great. Hopefully both teams are healthy when they come back to play in Minnesota.

Well, one round of the NCAA tournament is done and WOW, so far the B1G looks dominating. It's actually embarrassing.

Minnesota scored 9 goals.
Penn State scored 8 goals.
Ohio State scored 8 goals.
Michigan has scored 8 goals so far with 10 minutes left in their game and were just awarded a 5 minute power play and seconds into it scored their 9th, oh wait, and 10th goals.

Total is a 35-3 scoring margin.



And yes Minnesota dominated the B1G in record fashion this season going 3-1 vs all 3 of those other B1G teams.

First EVER title.

While UMn was in their record breaking 19th Frozen Four and record setting 10th Natl Title game in the last 50 years.

Since that day, several Gophers joined the NHL, giving them the most in the NHL this year and historically.
