For me, that’s on the staff and the operation. Shadeur Sanders is built like that and his play has a chance to be special because he has that edge. To keep with the sword bull shit, it’s double-edged and the ass end is dude is gonna be the guy to grab his phone and do that at halftime.

The adults need to mitigate that shit and have a policy of this is where the phone goes during all team activities- especially the fucking game, haha. Something like this should never be allowed to happen. I’m not coaching any team at any level in 2023 without me taking an active role in taking phones away. I do my classroom role based on the cell phone pockets hanging on the wall. I don’t give a fuck if I see you sitting in front of me talking to me if that phone isn’t in the pouch before the bell rings, your ass ain’t here. I won’t teach until the phones are there. I have the added motivation of my classroom is not gonna be one of those viral videos of WTF is going on in school haha.

You’ve done it right. You’re likely process oriented and when you were betting small you were learning and developing. Now you’re employing efficiently that which you’ve developed. Tip of the cap. I don’t have the ability to do that with gambling. It’s how I’ve worked my business though thank God.
