I have defended Watson on multiple occasions. This is indefensible. The backup is nowhere near ready, the team is looking for leadership..guys are already banged up and going out there. It's a matter of character (which is already in question) and he could've silenced some critics by sucking it up here.

Since we brought up OSU..look at Marvin...no one would've thought twice if he was out after rolling his ankle...not only did he not sit he went out in that game. As opposed to JSN who sat his entire year under very questionable circumstances.

JSN is completely underwhelming as a rookie.

It's not a one for one thing but there are moments these things shown through and show character. And clearly Marvin has it.

Willingham got less of a chance than Davie and Weis. Willingham was the most competent of the bunch.

wasn't JSN a hammy, which tend to linger a lot longer for many? A season did seem long but again thinking how hurt a guy is is your thing. Not mine. May have really been hurt. May have been protecting himself.

NIL seems to be a little bigger now than it was last year, as well, plus Harrison likely has money regardless as his dad did OK. I've sprained my ankle and at time thought I'd be out weeks and was fine minutes later. Guessing this has happened to others here.

Does this mean Olave and Wilson have no character since they sat out the bowl game? Bosa, too?

You may have bigger problems. I thought Louisville and Duke looked better in the trenches vs Notre Dame than OSU did.

Maybe but I don't like to use transitive property for sports. ND was also at home against us.

Really, seems like every team has some warts this year. Either they have had some close calls against middling teams, haven't played anyone yet or both.

I kid.....if we go based only on what a team has done this season they have one of the best wins of the year so far.

Seems like they are giving UGA a run for their money for the most cupcakiest schedules among potential contenders.

Now I know we have a weak OOC next year, but that is because Washington taken off of it (they joined the BIG). Been some upheavel in the B12...is that why OU's OOC is so terrible (seems like they usually schedule a toughie each season)
