I mean baseball is so random so you have to expect the yanks and sox to be better next year but yeah they will be around....not sure if that means winning division like the rays been doing or just fighting or WC spots as the Jays been doing lately
I don’t think they are done improving as a franchise, strong minor league system

Leadoff walk in the 9th

Bringing your closer after the walk to Harper is interesting

Yep. It started with sloppiness from Turner taking that throw from RF and letting a cheapy score. But even before that, it was stranding all those runners.
I am definitely rooting for the Phils- but tonight just maybe cost them the series. Wheeler pitched well- but probably won't pitch again this series. Maybe Game 5 I guess- but that leaves you in a tough spot if you advance.

I want the Dodgers and Brave to lose. Rooting for the Phils and DBacks in the NL.

I would drop Bohm in the order and move up REalmuto or Castellanos. Last 2 postseasons Bohm is not hitting his weight. .219 avg., OBP well under .300. Hitting between Turner and Harper (or in front of BOTH of them) has to be one of the best spots to hit in all of baseball and he has sucked.

Braves staff is in such turmoil though. They do not even know who they are starting so itll be interesting. Nola had a down season but was pithching better towards the end- including a good start against the Braves in late September.

Does Bryce Elder start Game 3? he didnt get out of the 4th inning his last 2 starts. He looked worn down. Jumping up to 175 innings this year will do that to a young pitcher. I wonder what his previous career high in innings was. I am sure he went WAAAY past it. He is probably gassed.

I don't think they care that much about game 3. Phils will have the obvious pitching advantage with Nola going but Braves will have Strider and Fried going in games 4 & possibly 5

I think Phils need game 3 more than the Braves
