Anyone ever hear of Sparks College Football?

Well whoever they are they're saying CJ Stroud will return to Columbus for one more season with a nice NIL deal.

They also are saying Vegas odds are changing with Will Levis as the # 1 pick went from 20/1 to 10/1 overnight.

Not sure if this is real. Don't trust something I've never heard of.

Yeah I don’t believe that about Stroud, you can’t pass up top 3 pick $$. I believe Levis could jump up to be a very high pick even though I don’t think he should be in that conversation

No way Stroud passes up NFL money for NIL money. It just wouldn't make any sense for him to do that.

I'd still be surprised if he stayed....though truth be told I didn't even realize he had not decided yet and assumed he already did. I can agree he'll make a lot more in the NFL than NIL can earn him...but at least he can get a lot more in NIL than others who had to make this decision.

I thought he had already declared. Wish him the best of luck at the next level. Just once I wanna see an Ohio State QB have a solid NFL career.

Well if he did stay he would be favorite for Heisman and Ohio St would be most likely favorite to win it all. Would be pretty cool and refreshing but I don’t see it. NIL at least spices it up though, a couple years ago it would be 100% certain he would go to the NFL

Teams are falling in love with a prospect with Josh Allen-like tools. Seems like a longshot with the amazing turnaround he had.

If he is the # 1 pick hope he has a better career than the last Kentucky QB taken # 1.

How much is his NIL deal?

While I agree that the smart move is usually to take that NFL money asap because it can cost you millions (see Matt Leinart dropping from #1 to #10 when he stayed to try to repeat as NC), NIL is a potential game changer. A big enough NIL could be a significant buffer.

I'd expect that he'd rather not end his tOSU career with back to back losses to Michigan and a loss in the cfp. If he has a lucrative enough NIL deal, that could tip the scales towards returning.

Not sure. The questionable article I ran across didn't mention the amount of the NIL deal.

Long way to go but possible Fields could be that guy.

Not sure if it has happened but heard something about a $4 million deal. Less than a top 3-5 pick deal, of course, but would think more than he'd get in one of those insurance policies kids have taken out....and does not need to pay to get it nor get hurt to collect.

Still think he leaves, though.

And he very well may leave, I just think it will be a much tougher decision than it would be minus the NIL.

Now this is some funny stuff. Former NBAer Jared Jeffries won a Toyota Corolla on the Price Is Right.

But at 6-11 he's too tall for the car. He's gonna give it to his teenage daughter.
