Damn what happened to Ohio State basketball? Struggling since the Michigan game @Stakesarehigh
got me. Peaked too early? 1 seed only in play if they win out and win BIG. don't see that happening.

Oh well.....a 2-4 was far better than I figured before season.

The Feds just need to re-classify cannabis. That would go a long way to resolving the issues around it.
There are still going to be issues, there are certain industries that are still going to have to not allow it. Working around power lines, climbing towers, healthcare workers, etc.

That's white-washing it a bit. My response was to Houston willingly sitting on Watson and ending his career if he didn't report.
That's Watson's choice if he doesn't report. want leverage? Don't sign a 4 year deal.

Depends. Imo, it should be treated like alcohol. Place an age limit on it (California has one) and the same rules apply at work. Can't show up drunk, can't show up high. Can't drink on the job, can't smoke a bowl on the job.

We know he doesn’t need it medically, if he did he would already be a billionaire through the courts.

Not necessarily. For example, if he needs if for pain, the NFL could point out that there are plenty of other pain medications that he could use.

Guessing most heard JJ Watt going to Arizona. Another reason why it's useless to pay much attention to "reports" no matter who they are from.

Funniest is Shefter reporting it as per source when it was done. The source was JJ Watt making the announcement.

When I saw Watt picked the Cards my first thought was at least he didn't pick the Steelers.

Once we saw their cap situation seemed clear was gonna be tough for him to choose a few of the so-called frontrunners - Pittsburgh, GB and Buffalo

We all know this guy is a moron and if he wasn’t there are thousands of ambulance chasing lawyers ready to take on the NFL right?

Not sure that is a good choice for winning but to each his own

Maybe the Cards offered him the best contract?

Maybe but he made it clear winning was his concern. He just picked the hardest division in football on a team that missed the playoffs

Nothing new. Athlete talks shit then makes decision that is not exactly in line with said shit talking lol

Hope he made the right choice for himself. Didn't think the Browns really had a chance at singing him anyway.

It's not necessarily a bad thing. Like Shane had hinted they could probably be better served spreading money around on that defense. Plus their focus needs to be on Baker, Chubb, and Ward long term.

NFL players as a whole have very little leverage in these situations.

Franchise QBs though? Totally different.

There just isn’t nearly enough supply to meet demand. The Texans and Watson could both continue to play hard ball with each other.

But the reality is that at this point, it is clearly in Houston’s best interest to trade him. They are not fixing this relationship. The return they can get by dealing him today is astronomical. It will only go down from here. And they aren’t in position to win anytime soon, so they might as well reset with players who want to be there.

I agree with that. No doubt Watt's a great player. But his best years are probably behind him. And no doubt the focus should be on Mayfield, Chubb & Ward.

The Cardinals have a lot of talent, perhaps he is the piece that brings it all together. I for one applaud a player willing to compete.

Yeah, they were 8-8 in a tough division. He doesn't put them over the top, but he definitely improves them.

We know he doesn’t need it medically, if he did he would already be a billionaire through the courts.

It certainly started that way, but mental health based (not physical health):

Gordon told GQ‘s Clay Skipper he first started self-medicating with Xanax, marijuana, and codeine in middle school. He said his initial usage stemmed from social awkwardness, anxiety, feelings of inadequacy, and “adolescent trauma-based fear.” According to Gordon, the drugs helped “numb those nerves so [he could] just function every day.”

Even though the NFL's pain medications are more dangerous and addictive than cannabis, lol.
