Sixers-Wizards is a shootout.

Beal has 32 and the Sixers are up 15 at the half because they scored 82. Seth Curry has been an absolute assassin.

Wirfs was such an obvious pick, said it here on draft day all day

former elite wrestlers in the NFL become elite offensive lineman almost every time, I read a piece on that, comes down to technique and hand control, etc etc
Wirfs was my favorite too. He is a beast. He gets hit a little because he is playing right tackle instead of left tackle--- but hes awesome.

Bechton is absolutely the biggest physical freak---- but Joe Thomas was never a freak athlete and he is probably the best left tackle of the last 20 years (or close to).

Wirfs is kind of a mix--- he has very good athleticism and very good technique and has moved to left tackle with a lot of success thus far this year---however- the rest of the Browns line is pretty damn elite- so that helps him. Bitonio and Wirfs are the best pair of guards in the league. Conklin is a solid right tackle and Tretter is a very solid center.

I think Thomas was the youngest of those 4- so by no means is he a "bust" at this point- and i am sure better players around him on the line would help him--- but right now- hes like the 5th or 6th best tackle in that draft and he was taken 1st.

I put Chase at the top. Its funny how Joey has kind of taken a back seat but he's no slouch either. 48 sacks in 59 starts.

But yes it was very nice. This year it was blatantly obvious they lacked that.
pretty crazy--- a couple nights ago after we talked about the OSU defensive ends i was driving home and the radio show i listen to- Bul land Fox (with Dustin Fox) had a national guy on who had wrote an article on all the pros on OSU and BAMA and who would s tart and the matchups etc.

It was crazy how good both the teams were. The Bama receivers vs. the OSU corners was just crazy.

at the end of the interview Bull asked him if he could pick one player off both rosters to start a team with he chose Nick Bosa.

Morey took a mass of talent but absolute nonsense roster construction into a very very freaking good team.

Might be close to the amount of talent on the field when OSU played Miami for 2002 title.

and if ya haven't heard Browns fans, just found out Harrison is out for the game (not sure if close contact or has virus).

And the hits just keep on coming.

Only positive is they can play like nothing to lose and Steelers have a ton or pressure. What a disaster for them if they lost with everything we have going on.

Is Ward back

If you want yet another hit, looks like the Indians just traded Lindor.

And while losing Lindor was always inevitable, the return package seems lite to me. 4 good, not great prospects.

Lindor deal expected and I've learned to trust our FO as they usually do well in deals like this. They acquired lesser known guys at time like Kluber and Clevinger in these deals. Also acquired Brantley as a PTBNL (though whiffed on the big fish, Laporta, in that deal), Carrasco, Sizemore, Santana, Gomes, etc.

But sickening they had a contending team and took payroll down from around $133 mil a few years ago to currently less than $40 mil. Can they spend like NY/LA? Nope. But really too much to ask they be league avg. in a contending window?

I don't understand the logic honestly. Same goes for the Tigers. When they spent like crazy they had substantial more fan support. Sure maybe at the end of the day the take home was less than it is to tank. But if you're in the business of owning a sports franchise you should not be using it as a means for year to year income. It's about building wealth.
