Hunt says he wants to retire as a Brown, so we will see. I guess to let Chubb’s career extend out further they could just use a 2 RB system. I thought he would be a trade candidate this season but idk I could see an extension too
Yeah or he might get 8-10. At this point nobody know but I do know whatever he gets he is appealing. People thinking this is going to be more than a year aren’t thinking clearly though. NFLPA could push for no suspension but I highly doubt that happens. Somewhere in the middleWatson might get a full season suspension.

I wonder if they’ll consider him missing all of last year or if they’ll chalk that up as a holdout due to a contract dispute.I think the NFL suspends him for a year, then it's a matter of what it gets reduced to on appeal.

It depends on what the Texans report as to why he sat. If they were at least receptive to a guy with the public relations problem staying away he can get credit for “time served” so to speak. But if their side of the story was, we would have played him if he reported then it’s unlikely they consider that. Was wondering about that too. I'd bet the NFLPA will try to use ''he's already sat out a year'' to as part of their argument. It'll be interesting to see if the NFL buys it.
The NFLPA would be wise to steer clear of this oneWas wondering about that too. I'd bet the NFLPA will try to use ''he's already sat out a year'' to as part of their argument. It'll be interesting to see if the NFL buys it.
Yep.The Browns were expecting a year, that’s why the first year salary in the contract was so low.
I agree but they won't.The NFLPA would be wise to steer clear of this one
They can’t. It’s their job to lobby for the interest of their players.I agree but they won't.
If they are wronged it is.They can’t. It’s their job to lobby for the interest of their players.
Nope. It mirrors our nation’s value of due process. Every one deserves the opportunity to make their argument and share their side of the story. Unions exist to argue on behalf of those in the union. If they are wronged it is.
not true. either part. The Browns were expecting a year, that’s why the first year salary in the contract was so low.
His base salary in 22 is barely a millionnot true. either part.
I know. They can’t. It’s their job to lobby for the interest of their players.
its the same with Denzel Ward's extension. Its typical of teams to convert most of the first year into bonus money that can be amortized for cap purposes for the entire length of the contract. His base salary in 22 is barely a million
It's pretty much been documented. His base salary in 22 is barely a million
The NFLPA would be wise to steer clear of this one
