There was never a doubt. This was nuts even needed to investigate. I mean, the Browns were open about what their plan was, it worked, and it was nothing that was against the rules.

After his false claims he should be kicked outta the league for good. Can't have former HC's making accusations like that for no other reason than he got fired.

3-36-1: Hue's record. If that's not the worst record for a HC with one team in league history I'd be surprised.

Truth be told, while I thought he was a bad coach my issue with him was more his personality. Doubt many coaches are winning games with Kessler and Kizer as their QBs. I don't think anyone saw 1-31, but I doubt they thought they'd win more than 3-4 games....and even hoped that would be the case.

I'm sure given another opportunity plenty of teams would take Tucker or Vinatieri in the late first round provided some hindsight. Not to say this kid is going to be anything near that but a 4th rounder on a kicker is a no brainer given their situation
That hindsight would change a lot of picks though. Plenty of drafted kickers have either busted or moved on to secondary teams before establishing themselves. The amount of successful 6th to UDFA kickers would keep me from investing that highly. I'm not even sold on the Bills using a 6th on Araiza, given that he has never been a holder and has a poor pooch punt effectivity rate, since the Bills are much more likely to be pooching than needing to flip the field.

Probably don't want to have to eventually pay him with the way these receiver contracts are going.
Apparently Brown has wanted out of Baltimore for a while now.

That's not fair to Alex Van Pelt. He was a backup, and the Bills have definitely had worse backups. As far as intended starters in the modern era, I'd go with Todd Collins or EJ Manuel.

What about the dude that threw all those picks?

Didn’t he start with Buffalo?

Peterman or something like that. Can’t remember.

There was Tyler Thigpen and Brodie Croyle for the Chiefs. Funny part is as long as I've followed the Chiefs I can count the number of QB'S that deserved to be called FRANCHISE Quarterback on one hand...

Seems like something that can blow up in their face. Baker has already shown that he isn't afraid to be a distraction which is something the Browns don't need.

If they keep him on the roster, they're going to end up paying at least part of his salary anyway.
Could end up Browns-ing things again...

One thing is certain, Mayfield will make $18 million this season.
