Yeah, think the Donkos had to give a first rounder among other things to get DangerRuss...

I could be wrong, though...

Another funny thing about some of their fans. Towards the end of every season since '15 the local news would mention Broncos season ticketholders were looking to sell their tickets because they team wasn't going to the playoffs.

If you're a real fan you stick with your team through the good & bad.

Exactly. Which is why I never got the "you gotta be behind the team in your area" nonsense. As long as you stick with ONE team through thick and thin I'll still respect you as a fan. Keep switching jerseys and loyalties and I'd look at ya funny...

Same, although I did switch from being a Rams fan to a Seahawks fan. But there was some fairly extreme bullshit that took place to make that happen and I've stuck with the Seahawks ever since.

Folks move a lot more now than they used to as well. So someone may have moved to a new area and stayed true to their team from where they lived before.

If it was the Georgia F. thing I kinda understand...

It was definitely her.

The issue wasn't really even that she wanted to move the team. That happens. Heck, the Rams had moved here from Cleveland. My 3 favorite teams at that time (Rams, Lakers, Dodgers) had all moved here from somewhere else. It would have been hypocritical to stop supporting them because of that.

It was the way she did it. She intentionally tanked the team knowing that people would get sick of the losing and stop showing up. Then, when that happened, she used "lack of fan support" as her reason for moving. When the Rams were good...that stadium was full every Sunday.

That crap is why, to this day, I'm a bigger college football fan than an NFL fan.

Didn't get to see any of it, but I heard some good stuff about the offense. Still hoping our defense puts the pieces together but we'll see. Gonna be an interesting season...

The defense was actually pretty solid. They held their own and even made some plays. Considering what is expected from the offense. I tok that as a positive sign.

What I really liked was that there were only 2 penalties and 1 was a targeting call that would have been overturned by review in a real game.

Everything was buttoned up and looked like the coaches actually knew what they were doing.

Seattle is my guess if the Browns eat a good portion of his contract.

And that would be a good move since Lock is really just a backup. 3rd stringer behind Giiiiiiiiiiiiiiino maybe.

I said on the NFL thread he's probably gonna be a journeyman for the rest of his career. I stand by that...
We will see, I think he is good enough to start for someone though.

I've said before, I wouldn't hate seeing the Seahawks get him. Especially if they upgrade the o-line.
I really think he is heading to Carolina, they are just waiting to do whatever maneuvering they are doing in the draft
