That and he had to make sure that he did it right. If he didn't, things would have gotten even worse for him.

Realistically, that division has moved away from the Raiders IMO. Chiefs/Denver/Chargers are all set with elite level QBs. I did stop short of putting the Raiders in the basement, but that could be reality depending on how the Broncos come together.

I doubt he goes 9 even if he still has the no-no intact, especially with a high K count. Pitch counts are limited early in the season.

Kershaw pulled after 7. Vesia came in, got 1 out and then gave up a single. Would've loved to see if Kersh could get his perfect game...but it was the right call, imo.

Yeah, would love so see him keep going. Can't push him that hard on the first start though, especially with an older pitcher.
