I love my blues music. For the millennium celebration me and some friends went to a special show at BB Kings in Memphis. Saw some greats that are no longer with us. Rufus Thomas, Koko Taylor and Little Jimmy King. It was a fabulous show.
Buddy Guy is playing literally down the street from me tomorrow night, but I have conflicting plans. I keep missing his shows and at some point they will stop.

That sucks, I’ve seen him 5 times over the years. Amazing how well he can still play the guitar.

I would think Lockett would be expendable because of his age.

But I also don’t think he has much, if any trade value because of his salary.

Maybe Lockett + a 2nd for Baker?

Sound reasonable?
More like Lockett and a 3rd plus the Browns would need to eat a lot of his salary.

Gonsolin is in the rotation and Heaney is a place holder for May until he's ready to return (just throwing off a mound recently). Bauer's status remains to be seen. Bobby Miller will start the season in AAA, and Ryan Pepiot is behind him in terms of expected MLB debuts and will also be in AAA.
Pretty much.

Anyone with a modicum of sense knew Rattler was not a 1st round QB. Don’t know much about Slovis.
Slovis looked really good his 1st season but he struggled since and the Trojans have great skill players. Not sure if it was because the OL wasn't so great and he threw poorly resulting in bad INT's. TJ12 and CL67 probably know more.

I have some from most of those as well, along with Howlin' Wolf, Freddie King, etc. Problem is, I buy so much music that I can't get caught up with even listening to them once each. Rock, blues, metal, etc.

One thing I forgot to mention yesterday about Alligator records. They charge no sale tax or have a shipping fee.

That sounds like it was a great show. Never saw Thomas, Taylor or King. But I did see BB King on 5x.

Sounds like the Eagles are kicking the tires on Honey Badger. Eagles are gonna have to overpay to really be in it.

Eagles vs Saints once again
Not sure how you’re assessing the Saints here but the Eagles are in a rebuild and likely still looking for their QB. They aren’t ready to compete for the big prize. Therefore, in order to get a guy like the Honey Badger, they’re gonna need to meet his demands of like 3 years 45-50 million with 2/3 of it guaranteed. I love that he is a playmaker. Can’t put a price tag on that. At the same time, that’s a lot of money to devote to a position that doesn’t require as important an investment on your defense as DE, CB and DT.

It was a combination of things. The o-line wasn't very good and unlike Sam Darnold, Slovis couldn't really use his legs. So when the protection broke down and he had to go "off script", he would struggle where Sam seemed to actually play better when protection broke down. Also, because he wasn't real mobile and the o-line was weak, he took a beating and was playing hurt much of the time.

I'll say one thing...he was tough kid. Took some serious beatings, kept coming back and never complained or tried to make excuses.

When he had protection, he was pretty accurate and you could see where Kurt Warner working with him when he was in high school helped.

But end of the day, he was a 3 star QB who was smart enough to know that he had good weapons that made him look better than he was at times and trusted them.

Heard Judge turned down 8 years and $230 mil from NY. Unless he wants out of NY, think that's a mistake by him.
