Cant miss 2 fts late in the game. Williams screwed up
True. Manek 1-4 down the stretch as well. I don’t like Banchero not getting shots down the stretch. Thought he gave up the ball a few times when he had stuff in the last 4-5 minutes.

Been good. Manek has had a great tourney but has fallen off a little tonight. He’s from here close to where I live.
He’s that glue guy for them that makes it all work. He does stuff that doesn’t show up in the stat sheet. He was due for some regression but when Bacot goes out he gave them a nice presence and some rebounding. Hit a big 3 when it counted too.

Not sure North Carolina has the depth to stay with Kansas but it’s going to be a great game. That big man’s ankle is going to get a lot of attention the next couple days.

I dont know manek ft% but williams is 75%. Double bonus and down 1 with under a minute to go. Got to at least tie the game then that 3 on the following possession isn't a dagger

As long as Bacot can play, they are going to be right there.

If Bacot is out though, I don’t think they have enough.

If the Eagles are going with Hurts again, Kaep is a nice symmetrical back up for him. You shouldn’t have to scrap the gimmick offense they are likely to employ with Hurts if Kaep is the back up.
Think that's the issue for most...is he worth the drama that would come as a backup?

Yep. There’s always that cost benefit analysis with those who bring controversy. The better the talent and impact on the team the more a franchise is willing to deal with the smoke

No question. I mean, if LJ or Watson did what he did no way they get blackballed. Likely never would have been out of a job.

How'd you like that great win last night?

Carolina gave Coach Kruzawooooski his first career loss.

Beat him in his last game at Cameron indoor outhouse.

And ended his coaching career.

All-time bragging rights!

I would go so far as to say surely not out of a job.

Why the whole “blackballed” theory makes no sense.

He didn’t get blackballed. His play just wasn’t good enough for any team to put up with the controversy. And it is really easy to see how all 32 teams would make that same calculation.

This is why he’ll never be in the NFL, especially as a backup. Can’t overshadow the starter. Plus, comparing the nfl to slavery then trying to get back in probably won’t be the best look.

I really dont get why some have such a hard time grasping that.

Coaches in all sports hate distractions...but football coaches hate them the most and its not all that close.

Colin Kaepernik is a backup quality QB. Fastest way for a backup QB to find himself out of the league, or not allowed back in, is to be a distraction.

A QB can be starting quality and not be allowed to be a distraction if hes not elite...hence the Browns going after Watson, who at least initially, will be a bigger distraction than Baker has and for a far worse reason.

The idea that there should be any controversy whatsoever is where it becomes being blackballed IMO. I bunch of owners suddenly have strong morals towards the flag that they don't show for women's safety, drug use, etc. Institutional racism by the owners, not that it's anything new really.

You can argue how bad the NFL owners are, but Kaepernick is his own worst enemy if he's trying to get back in the league. Six months ago he has a Netflix specially literally saying the NFL is slavery, particularly around the draft process. Now, he's trying to get back in as a backup.
