I used to love Rush, saw them back in the day about 6 times.

Starting in high school, I saw them every year for about 20 years straight. They were also my sons first concert.

Funny story, my closest friend, also a big RUSH fan, has his son come up to him when he was a teenager and say Dad, you gotta hear this band I just discovered and starts playing RUSH. My friend starts laughing and tells him about the RUSH concerts that he and I had been to. lol

Great story. I liked them as a young band, it was amazing how much sound came out of a 3 person band. Didn’t like them as much when they went more high tech with the synthesized stuff but still followed them. Not many bands have 3 musicians as highly skilled as those guys were.

Used to take binoculars to RUSH concerts just to watch the drum solo.

Neil Peart was an incredible drummer. Saw Rush in concert during the Presto tour. It was indoors and during his drum solo it was synced up with a laser light show. It was awesome.

Im able to do st peters when im in ny but since i dont work on weekends, i didn't go to ny and place a straight up bet on them to win today
