You a Villanova fan?
Fuck no! I graduated from St Joe’s. Grads of Temple, Penn, LaSalle and St Joe hate Villanova. There’s been a classic round robin among the Philly schools called the Big 5. Under Rollie Massimino, Villanova began acting like they were too good for everybody else in the Big 5 because the Big East took off. Under Rollie, they essentially neutered the Big 5. When the Big East was struggling and in need of expanding, Villanova stood in the way of Temple and St Joes getting invites. Would have changed the trajectory of both schools basketball programs. Fuck Villanova. Jay Wright seems like a good man and is harder to root against but still Fuck Villanova.

My bad! I'll never ask if you like Nova again.

What a nerve racking game in the 2nd half & OT. Glad Carolina took care of business. Didn't want them to end up on the wrong side of Tourney history.
Dude you're not kidding. I'm proud of em though man. Uckla next...I feel like they can win one more.

After a rough start to the season the Tar Heels have really turned it around. Glad that Coach Davis has had some success his first year on the bench. I hope they can upset UCLA. But they're a very experienced tourney team.

And there are very legit reasons why the price was similar.

If Watson weren’t without all the drama, he would have been a lot more expensive.

And I have not flip flopped at all.

I said I think it is a good trade and I stand by it. I can still think that while providing reasons why the price was what it was.
agreed.....and he can say he still preferred to keep Baker, didn't want Watson but from a pure football standpoint think it's a good deal.

You know what else?

If a team that he didn’t like made the exact same deal…

Maybe Oakland, or Miami, or Washington

He would have been railing on them for overpaying.

And I think you know this.
He might but has nothing to do with what actually did happen and what he has said about it. He's also not the only oine to do this...many give dj a hard time about LV. Hell, pretty sure you know it's hard not to question snyder.

He would be destroying them for rewarding Watson with a fully guaranteed contract
kind of did question that, didn't he?

Hearing NFL not exactly enamored with the Browns and the deal though only assumes he's suspended.....since the suspension won't hurt him much in the wallet.

Odelll is still in their plans and injured. Robinson is a much different WR than either IMO.
How do you know still in plans? Seems pretty clear they chose Robinson over Woods. Right move? we'll see.

Ohio St is always an under unless they get blown out which is certainly possible
I do wonder how their numbers change with Young and without. saw an article today about him not being our best player for sure but the team MVP. I can see it.

How does Young impact pace? What has drawn me to the under is the fact that OSU and Nova play at a slower pace in their metrics. I think Nova is in the 300s and OSU is in the 280s.

I think Houston did fine but historic haul?
No way it’s historic. While 3 1st’s is a lot it is nearly what they should have received bc CLE knew it was Watson’s decision and they weren’t going to offer too much.

We’ve also never witnessed this before. A star QB in his prime being traded, whether he forced his way out or not, I don’t recall a situation. Seattle got 2 1st’s, mid rounds picks and 3 players for a 34 year old QB. I don’t consider Watson’s return historic considering what kind of player they traded away. Historic would have been the rumored offers like: 3 1st’s, 2nd, Ward and Hunt.
