i dont know if its a "horrible" decision.

they are at home- so i guess thats one thing, but still......

if i am facing Aaron Rodgers with all my DB's hurt and a backup qb- i got for it there.

That's one way to look at it. The other way is they make it to OT then you may get the ball on the opening possession and Rodgers never see the ball in OT.

Also my other issue is both times they went for 2 recently with the game on the line is they didn't even go to their bread and butter.

Brady done nothing to the Saints since being in Tampa. Saints defense completely own him. Only reason they won in the playoffs is because Brees could not throw it more than 5-10 yards down the field so that led to Tampa INTs.

If your defense can’t stop him for 30 seconds you got bigger problems. They had stolen all the momentum in that game, it was theirs.

They probably would have gotten in field goal range either way in all honesty.

But, I am talking about overtime also.

Unless you win the coin toss and go down to score a TD, Rodgers was going to have a chance. And the Ravens couldn’t stop the Packers when they were playing aggressively.

losing your QB kills you.

its the one reason why I dont mind the Browns paying so much for Keenum as a backup- since he has the ability to win a game or two for you and be consistent off the bench.

Saints should obviously bring back Winston AND sign a good backup/or draft someone pretty high. Hill and Semian cant do it.

Now you know why the Saints stuck with Semian as long as they did.

Hill isn’t better.

Their mistake was not using Hill alongside Semian.

Saints did do an amazing job

but no Godwin, Evans or Fournette for most of the game certainly didnt hurt their efforts.
