But he was managing and betting at the same time. That's a bad combo.

Did they ever prove that he wasn't just betting on his own team to win? That was his claim. If he could affect his team to win every time he bet, is that a problem in any way? The risk is in managing to lose to win bets.

Not a bad thing. They have some great pieces but they need a rebuild. Probably in a better place than Cleveland. The Browns pushed so many contracts down the road it wont be till 27 or 28 if they want to go the rebuild route

Who can absorb that cap hit and still give value to the Raiders? Sports talk radio this AM was talking about him like he's a rental, but he's signed for two more seasons for $35M+ each and is already 32. There is an out for $15M dead cap after this season. That contact could get UGLY quick if he starts showing his age. His trade value is going to fall off a cliff soon.

It calls into question the integrity of the game. Can't have that. With as many people as there are out there that cry about sports being "fixed/rigged"...they can't allow anything that feeds that narrative. Especially baseball which lags behind the NFL and NBA in viewership and popularity.

I have no problem if they want to admit him now since his lifetime ban is technically over. They should let him in based on what he did as a player, but the gambling as a manager and the lifetime ban should be mentioned as well.
Same with the roids guys. Put them in but mention it on the plaque
